Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It generates conflict, and I will not deal with conflict about religion on this forum, if you post it will generate replies regardless of your faith or what your intentions are.
Do not push your beliefs on others, state it: thats fine, then be done with it. I have my beliefs. I am a Roman Catholic and it guides my life, it doesnt run my life. No need for confusion its pretty simple.

I am Christian. But at the same time, I feel that I have freedom of choice. I don't feel it'* my RIGHT to push my faith on others. Nor is it anyone'* god-given right to push theirs on anyone else.
There are some religions and faiths that push, push, push, and it doesn't do them any good towards converting anyone. It turns people off. That'* the issue here. Too many people have been force-fed this material in their lives, and it'* a sticky issue. Not only did I receive complaints about this last night, but I am also in this category.
Steve, we're all very happy that you recently found Jesus, but that doesn't mean we ALL want to hear about it in every post. You have to simply understand that this is going to cause controversy. Politics and Religion are 2 topics that will ALWAYS do this, regardless of the community the topics are presented in.
Up until this point, Religion hasn't really been posted here. This is our first real taste of it, because up until now, people have understood it'* controversial. We have members here that don't worship God as we do. There are people here who don't worship at all, because they don't want to, or don't believe. Religion will always be a hotter issue than which muffler to put on a car.
Jim put this under virtual lock, and I'm adding mine to it. Find a way to express your beliefs without being so overpowering. Interpretation: In the future, don't over-do it. Keep in mind that you're going to start arguments by doing so.

I am a Christian, and an ordained minister as well. However, I do understand that this is a car forum and while mentioning of God is fine, it should not be the focus here. If anyone wants to discuss Christianity, I personally welcome you to the forum I moderate at called Theology Review (www.theologyreview.com). Registration is free! There you can talk about Jesus all you want!!

ps. Don't get me wrong, I understand the zeal of some here. I'm very passionate about my faith as well. However, one needs to respect the rules of a forum, and the wishes of the Admins.
