and I also don't belive that any "just" god would send someoen to hell just because they didn't brag about him to everyone they know. If believing in him and praising him in private isn't enough then there is something wrong with this picture. I do believe and I do pray and praise god and I love him with all my heart, I just don't need to tell everyone I know and put that upon them to believe that. Isn't god the one who said you shouldn't interfere with people'* lives? Isn't forcing your religion upon them and forcing them to beleive what you do making it so they can't live their lives how they want to? If it'* what they believe then it'* what is right for them and what makes them happy. Who are we to change that for them?

I never said that I was forcing anyone. This is not a religion thing either. This is about giving thanks and praise to God. He wants us to spread the news to each other. If not, then we are selfish if we know what one might not know. I am going to make some calls for scriptures so I can futher more explain. Again, religion has nothing to do with hen we leave this earth. Its about what the Word says.

as far as orginized religion goes, i dont beleive in it... i dont need a group of people in a building telling me im going to hell or not, thats not the way "i beleive" as for being shy it has nothing to do with that, one of my major pet peeves is when a religious person comes up to you and starts telling you that you're going to go to hell if you dont do this or that and blah blah...
being ashamed?

Nobody, even I didnt say that you or SSEi_MN is going to Hell. IThat never came out of my mouth at all. As far as the ppl in a building, no church that I know of is going to judge you and just say your going to hell. Show me a church like this. I was just stating to give GOd prsise. I never said go to church or quote scriptures or anything like that at all. I just said give God His praise because He is worthy. Never was I trying to tell anyone to believe this or that.

I was just using the your going to hell thing as an example. You shouldn't be ashamed of your religion, obviously it shouldn't be your religion if you are ashamed of it. ssesc93 is right, he wants us to spread the word of God to one another. I know a lot of people that can refer to the scriptures like I can refer to my FSM, I am not one of those people. However, whenever I see someone in need, I usually lend a hand. And I will usually say God will help you, he is there for you, and he has his plans for you. That is the way it works. I always have to remind myself of that, because there are times when its like just damnit! I don't want to do this, or this sucks, why did I do that, etc.. I don't want my posts to be contraversial, however this is how I feel.

Religion is one of those subjects that can really start a war here. Alot of people don't like it pushed. You may not think you are, but some may (and are) interpret it as such. We try to stay out of politics here. Imagine how your praises may offend an athiest or worse? What about a devil-worshipper? Do they deserve any less or more respect than you and your beliefs?
I was 'sent' to this thread by one person who feels uncomfortable with this. I'm not trying to be rude, but I liken this to homosexuality. My take on it is this:
If you're homosexual, keep it to yourself and you're cool with me. I don't share my heterosexual exploits at work or in public. You shouldn't either if you're homosexual. Your sexual or religious or political beliefs are yours, but you need to remember to be sensitive to others while discussing these things on a forum. Especially a car forum.
There will be those that disagree with you. Maybe not with your beliefs, but in how you present it.

If you quote a scripture something with a little more modern day dialect so it makes sense. The whole "olde time thee speaketh to thou" is annoying.
Besides, could you qoute Ps 149:1? I want to see if the Bible you use is giving the praise as well.
