Assembly of the Saints. My interpretation of that verse is praise him in church.

It doesn't say "Praise him to heathens". That would be loosely interpreted as 'praise him on BC".

Seriously Steve, I do have my beliefs also, but this isn't the place I share them, because I don't like it when people 'Praise God' with every breath. There are apparently a few others here like that, so you need to respect that.

I like this one the most. It'* probably the clearest and most sensible of them all. It'* giving praise to a specific NAME instead of just "Lord" or "God".

Maybe in your belief that'* true, Steve, but not in all religions. Now we open another can of worms.

Try Jehovah is God,
And in any personal relationship it is a good thing to know someone'* personal name. By saying God you could mean Apollo to someone who still follows the Greek Pantheon, or Mother Nature so some naturalist druid. I could say the President is a great leader, but be referring to Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation instead of Bush. See my point.
Anything that is worshiped can be termed a god, inasmuch as the worshiper attributes to it might greater than his own and venerates it. A person can even let his belly be a god
