Assembly of the Saints. My interpretation of that verse is praise him in church.
It doesn't say "Praise him to heathens". That would be loosely interpreted as 'praise him on BC".
Seriously Steve, I do have my beliefs also, but this isn't the place I share them, because I don't like it when people 'Praise God' with every breath. There are apparently a few others here like that, so you need to respect that.

And in any personal relationship it is a good thing to know someone'* personal name. By saying God you could mean Apollo to someone who still follows the Greek Pantheon, or Mother Nature so some naturalist druid. Anything that is worshiped can be termed a god, inasmuch as the worshiper attributes to it might greater than his own and venerates it. A person can even let his belly be a god
