Default GP exhaust resosance

Anyone else been in the back of a GP GT lately? My in-laws' 01 GP PT has a rather annoying exhaust resonance below 2k rpm.

I have a similar resonance now with my new exhaust. It'* not that bad....just have to keep the revs above 2000.

I have a loud, rumbling resonance that'* quite a bit louder than the L36 GP, tone is similar, also at 2000rpm. Completely stock exhaust.

Methinks it'* cause of the catalytic converter, the origins of which are completely unknown (it'* not a standard issue Bonneville/H-body feline converter) - but it fits :?
