i have found that instead of spending top dollar for cat back systems such as magnaflow.i have bent up a bueatiful 3"engine back with 14 gauge aluminized pipeing,3"camarro flowmaster,2 1/2 tails, with 4 1/2 crome res.tips on my 96 bonneville ssei.ive won numerous awards at various shows for my work,at half the price!
its definatly a eye&ear grabber..

Congrads. Just remember, you sacrificed looks for performance. I have 3" custom catback w/ no showing tips, all you hear is the V6 at lower rpms and high rpms but not inbetween. But I have a Magnaflow muffler, flowmaster wouldnt sound right on a V6 (I have heard some) and dont flow as well.

have you heard a 3"flowmaster on a ssei. sounds way better than 90%of mustangs.for a v6 thats awesome it gave me so much more power because oem head pipe from manifold is 3 " and it down sized to 2 1/2. open the system all the way threw and the res.tip give it the deep mean roar no othe bonneville has.something to think about.

Are you running the 80 Series LS1 muffler? If so our exhaust sounds pretty close. I only have it coming out dual 2.5" into Borla dual tips 3".

My shop that has done all my friends did my entire catback exhaust for $300 dollars including piping, labor and muffler and did it in 2 hours while I watched.

I use a L67 Camshaft as a paperweight, your muffler could do that as well and make your desk prettier.
