Fisging with your kids is the greatest, if you have the patience. Find that spot where the Sunnies hang out by the pier, have a good supply of gold hooks and angler worms, and just watch their faces light up.

My kids are too old for that right now, but (as much as I hate to say it) I'm probably only a few years away from grandkids....

Yeah, I have her back out twice since then. She still doesn't have too much of an interest but I am working on it. The 8 yr old has been at her mom'* so i think when she comes back the 3 yr old will come around.
Going camping in a few weeks and they have a pond, so I am hoping to have a good time there and that will spark a little more interest.

Tallbump, I may be passing thru Erie in the not to distant future, we'll definitely have to get together!
