I broke down and bought some insulated coveralls for work this week. My job supplies a uniform with a coat but even with thermals on it was too cold for this guy to work it the 20'* during the night.

lake effect, which is why we get so much were i am, im in the lake effect band for lake ontario if the winds are from the north and lake erie if its from the west. getting a couple more today, dont think im going to clean out the driveway till its done. we always get bad snow until the lakes freeze up some. you never heard of the getting couple feet at a time in buffalo a few times a year? thats us here too

Of course I know where you live. Even with LE snow, usually we get something from it.

And yes, I know what LE is. I was stationed at Ft Drum for 6 years. Which is right at the end of Lake Ontario. Where most of the winds go.

if you were at fort drum im sure you are familiar. its kind of weird how it goes sometimes it will be snowing like crazy here and you go to work and its not, depends on the wind that day. it was like that today, snowed all day here, roads were bad going into town, but my wife said she got half way to work and it was dry and sunny. she works about 40 miles away toward niagara falls

anybody else get the ice storm that went through yesterday? my power has been off since early sunday morning, just came on a while ago. we had a ton of snow melt last week with a ton of rain, then it started freezing and a ton of trees ended up going over. this creek is behind my house and is normally 3 or 4 feet wide, and the trees are normally strait
