the small towns around here have the cruise in shows, but driving down the road is generally frowned upon. and there are only so many cars around here so go to a couple and you have seen them all, not may gearhead types around this area

I'm not a big motorcycle fan, but after seeing a commercial for the Star Bolt the other night I actually really liked it.

I can pick up a new star bolt for under 8k. I probably would never ride it anyway. I do see the resemblance with the Vrod.

Never heard of the Star before. A Google search shows it the American version of a touring Yamaha. I was surprised to see they use carburetors in the Star bikes. Thought carbs were no longer used for most higher tech machines.

there are some quads too that use carbs. some people prefer there ease of adjustability and reliability
