The problem is the mechanic is the one doing the work but he is getting screwed. Most mechanics only see about 20-30% of what the dealer is charging. And warranty pay is a joke. Yes dealerships charge a premium but it'* not a easy buck for the mechanic most of the time. And the flat rate system creates dishonest mechanics giving the honest guys a bad reputation.

thats the only reason anyone goes, till the one dodge dealer started screwing me on the free oil changes even and i got in a fight with the manager. now i dont take the car back for anything at all. not worth the trouble

I'm thinking about keeping an eye out for that. Should be able to get one for a reasonable price if they ever get one in at the JY. Only have one allure there currently.
