I hope I have a better week this coming week. Someone broke into my garage. Stole my wallet. They got a whole 5 bucks, and some credit cards I cancelled. lol I never used my wallet anyways. I just left it in the car for emergencies if I needed a credit card.

They could have stole more stuff, like the T'bird or my ATV, the GTP, or the Escape. Nothing missing just my wallet that was in the center console of the Escape.

The most inconvenient thing is I need to replace the garage door (not the big ones for car, but the small one for people.) Oh and a new license.

Best thing is the police have a suspect because the idiot tried to use my credit card. lol

Then the GTP broke down so that is a bummer, and I broke a snowmobile oops. The lower control arm rusted off. Going to try and weld that sucker back up and sell it. Then buy a newer machine to replace it.

This might be my new Ford Fusion. 1 year old car with just 2000 miles on a used lot discounted a bunch so that is tempting. Could be replacing the GTP.

Sorry to hear about the lowlife breaking into your garage Nate.
If the guy get charged, does he have to pay for damages too?
Hope you can get the door replaced ok.
Good luck on welding the control arm too on the snowmobile.
Is that the going value of a one yr old fusion with only 2k miles at 16.5K$ ?? Seems low.
What the story on that car..? Nice looking...I wish I could get deals like that here.

Any used car gets knocked down pretty fast, and that Fusion had some decent options, but I am thinking why it is priced so low compared to the other few I have looked at is I think that white one was wrecked early on in its life, and the owner probably didn't like the quality of the repair so they traded it in. That would be my guess. The salesman didn't really want me to look at the car fax either. He told me to come back when he gets it.

My home owners insurance is paying for everything, so I don't really care. lol

I bet the rates will go up slightly after this though. I should just pay for it myself.

fords break all the time, recall for stuff that starts on fire, etc.. dont care if its free if you cant drive it. would rather drive my 210k mile bonny cross country than any ford.

as far as the control arm i would find someone who is parting one out get one that isnt soft.

I don't like Fords too much, but I have a 14 Escape with about 50k miles on it now and it has yet to have a single problem.

Ideally a new part would be great, but I don't really care that much.

i think a guy in the club bought an escape brand new and shortly after he bought it, they called and told him stop driving it may catch on fire we'll tow it from where it is. was definitely a ford suv, we have had a ton at work, recalled and broke all the time. my work truck broke 2 to 4 times a year from new. sorry just wouldnt even think of spending my own money on something such poor engineering and quality.

control arms take alot of stress and if it was soft enough to break already its not going to hold up to welding or the weight of the sled if you do
