The only deisel I ever had was 24v positive ground. The batteries were in series and body ground was made at 12v, right between the batteries, so you could hook up radios/cb'*/etc and not fry them. Its been so long I dont even recall what it was.

It might be externally regulated, I'll check into that. Yes, its a 12v, negative ground, and there are 4 batteries. Dad'* the one tackling that project, I'm plumbing hydraulic and electrical lines. We'll probably pull the batteries in the morning, and test them, see if they're bass ackwards. Three of them are fairly new. I really hope that'* what'* wrong, cause I gotta be stacking by Saturday....... :(

Yup, it'* a diesel. And we fixed it!! We had a guy helping us a while back, when we were working on the battery box and stuff, anyways, he hooked it up, and he switched the wires going into the battery box, so the negative was hooked to the positive, and the positive was hooked to the negative. So we had a positive ground, but nothing was faulty. Weird. :?

And y'all fight it out over who gets the dinner, let me know who wins.

Yeah, over 200 years of experience if you combine all the mechanics we called, none of them could explain it.
