no choice here, always work to be done and my job requires travel daily. I usually buy Valero though LOL.

Both assertions are false. Neither buying gas at all on a certain day nor boycotting certain suppliers will effect gas prices.

Simple economics I'm afraid.

the only way for any of this to work would be everyone to not buy gas and everyone not drive at all.
and that is never going to happen.
If you drive your car that day of course you will buy that days gas on another day

If you don't buy from the big three (let'* call them Shell, BP, and Texaco for fun), they will HAVE to drop prices to increase sales. Then you start buying from THEM and nobody else, until THEY drop prices to comptete.

The problem is coordinating this with millions of drivers to switch back and forth at the right time.

I'm still waiting for my free copy of Windows 93 (SSEi edition), the tickets for my free Disney trip and a few other cool things. I'm sure they are coming.

thats weird. Mobil and Xxxonxx what crap it liek 10cent higher then every other station here..

But i get gas at Sams Club most of the time. Last time i got gas.. about 6 days ago.. it was 2.88 for reg and 3.08 for 93

Mobil around here is like 3.05 fore Reg and 3.20'* some 3.30'* for 93
