Dealership rip-off - May 14, 2008 update - PAGE 22
Just seen the NBC30 video of your story.
Very good.
I hope this Dave Taylor guy wises up and realizes that he can't be doin' this crap and get away with it. He'* in business to make money and it'* kinda hard to do that when you screw your customers over and over again.
BBB : Unsatisfactory practices. That'* an understatement.

No word from him since 2 weeks ago today. And no check/keys, etc. I e-mailed him the video last week too, and he hasn't responded yet.
And apparently someone in CT had the same experience with this guy. He left a comment under my video on the NBC site saying he was going to the attorney general over his own experience.
So this will be DEVASTATING to this guy'* business, all over $50 and some floor mats.

Quick recap:
2 weeks ago before the story aired, he said he'* send me my stuff.
As of yesterday he has done nothing. I e-mailed him last night saying I would go to the Attorney General if I was not reimbursed by Monday. I got this e-mail this morning:
WHAT AN *******!!!
Too bad I can't take the story down, and too bad I wouldn't want to if I could.

As I told you and your friend a NBC 30. I would not send any money if the news aired of which it did. You take down the NBC online segment under Bernardo Motors and I will send you a check. I have contacted my attonery and I'm prepared to file suit against you for mis-representing the information you told NBC 30. The assistant Atternery General is a customer of mine and I will be happy to discuss this action with him along with my attorney. Your moving into an area that I will proceed with legally, I don't care what it will cost me. Get rid of the online broadcast and we can end this matter today via certified check otherwise it will start costing you legal fees. I will proceed with this with my atternory today and file court papers today.
Your comic remarkes are not impressive.

I love sue-happy America....lol
So all of this is over some floor mats, unaccounted for miles and some broken ventshades, this guy must have a lot of time on his hands.
My favourite line "The attorney general is a friend of mine"
bhahahahah
Maybe he should try and sue NBC? Its their site....

(But I would have spelled it better) I'm sure the consumer advocate reporter there would love to know you've been threatened due to their story. And I bet the AG'* office would like to know that he thinks their office can be influenced by an alleged friendship. And, I wonder what the BBB would think of a business threatening a customer?I think this guy just stepped on it.
