is trying to rip me off!! I made a Travelocity reservation for Saturday night. $69.75

As I was checking out, he made me sign the bill. I asked if I had to since I paid with Travelocity, he said yes. I haven't had to before. Now there is a charge for $102 on my card!!

They are so getting a new one torn in the morning.

I found the bill. 69.95 + taxes = 77.65

Where the hell does $102 come from?

Call your bank / credit card company RIGHT NOW, to explain and officially dispute the false charge. They will probably refund the amount right away, and investigate everything for you. PLUS, you can still call Comfort Inn and complain, and you will most likely receive some kind of compensation (most likely a discount or free room next time you stay).

Just a couple tricks I've learned, being an ultra-frugal consumer who demands good customer service!
