If the definition of rice is a car that goes faster than it appears it could, what is the definition of "sleeper"???

I think you've got it the wrong way around,

rice = all show, no go

sleeper = only go, no show

I read Road and Track and Car and Driver. I notice that most of the time, these magazines tend to favor and review more NON American cars than normal. It isn't fair to the American cars, but hell, if you take a look on the road, foreign cars are everywhere. They are just writing about what people want.

Can you blame them? Everyone needs to make a living, sure they don't do a lot of cars justice, and you'll see Mustang GTs against stuff like an s2000 or a 350z a lot but who cares. I don't want every kid on the block to have my car, that way i can't turn as many heads....

The Northstars have 3 different ratings (I don't know the torque, so only HP) 275HP, 300HP and 315HP. The 275 is used in the Seville SLS and the base Deville. The 300 is used in the DTS, STS and the 315 is used in XLR and SLR. We will be getting the midlevel, with Buick getting the low and high for Lesabre and Park Avenue, respectively.

That is what I am wondering. I think somebody is confused.

rice = all show, no go

sleeper = only go, no show
This is how I understood it.

I was commenting on this quote. Ricers ARE cars that look faster than they can go...sleepers ARE cars that go faster than they appear to be capable.
