as the story goes, she wrote it on bar napkins when she was flat broke and working as a waitress. Now she is like the 2nd richest Brit woman behind the queen. what a crazy world...
I have to agree with Will on this one, the movies are very well made, and they are doing the best that they can. Many people even complain that they movies should be longer and tell more of a story. I am also still mad that Tom the forest giant isn't in the first movie (favorite character).

OK, just to check, y'all do realize that link is to a humor site, right? They're making fun of people that might really think that way. Please tell me y'all know that...
Generally movies that are made from books dont do the story justice. I've liked the movies but they are horrible compared to the books. There just isnt time to put all the details from the books into a 3 hour movie.
What I hate is movies like The Sum of All Fears. If you saw the movie but havent read the book my advice is READ THE BOOK! I dont know how Tom Clancy could have authorized the production of that piece of tripe! Most of the other Clancy movies were good, especially The Hunt for Red October, even though the were changed dramatically from the written version.
I'll put the soap box away.
