New guy
Hello, Im new here, but have been getting some wonderful info for sometime. Im an old "motorhead' and have not been doing projects for some years.{burnt out}. but this site lured me to thinking and tinkering again. The bonneville is an excellent vehicle and I really do appreciate the design. It marries new technology with old and thats alright by me. I have a 97 se I bought for my wife in 99, and she recently bought a new Trailblazer{yuck}, and of course I am happy to accept the bonnie as my main ride.
Thanks for the site, its wonderful...........

Ill try and post a picture soon. As far as projects go not many. Ive only restored one. a 69 chevy impala, midnight green, 327 turbofire, {last year they made the 327}, My dad bought the sled new in 68 for 2900 bucks. Anyway its long gone. Most 'projects' were motor buildups, and these engines went into cars that were in various states of repair, and planned to be restored. Im not much of a body guy myself, and most body work went to other people. An 81 olds cutless in superb shape that got the Buick 3.8 ripped out and a 350 put in. Nothing against 'old faithful', but in those days a v- 6 was was just down right imbecile. Not to mention the first computer system these things had.
Ive got a 92 chevy longbed siverado [black} thats just sitting waiting for me to get intrested again. Know what I mean? :?
