Default New guy with a new SSEi saying hi!

Hello everyone! My name is Carlos and I just purchased a 2000 Light Bronzemist SSEi. When I saw the car, I just had to have it even though I really wasn't looking to buy another car.

I've always loved Bonnevilles so it really didn't take much coaxing to get myself to buy it. The main reason I purchased the car at this time is because of the condition that it'* in for the price that I paid for it.

The car is in absofreakinlutely mint condition! The paint is flawless...not one single scratch on it, the wheels are perfect...not a hint of curb rash...by the way, the wheels are the silver multi-spoke lace pattern.

The leather seats are perfect...no wear marks at all, the carpet and floor mats are perfect, even the windshield is chip free! I only paid $10,000 for it. It does have 103,000 miles on it...which really isn't an issue though.

The motor purrs like a kitten and seems to be very solid. If the motor were to go out 5,000 miles later, I wouldn't have a problem with spending $1,500 for a rebuild considering the condition of the car. It has every option except a moon-roof.

I just may be turning up the boost on it pretty soon...I'm a gear head. This car is replacing my previous daily driver which is an '86 Honda Accord with almost 300,000 miles on it, which I still have btw.

My other car is a black '97 WS6 Ram Air Trans-Am with a little over 39,000 miles on it. That car has a built 396 LT4 in it with forged internals. I bought that one new and it doesn't get driven much...that'* my baby that'll be with me until the day I die!

Anyhooooo...I'm glad I found this site and I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys and girls about our beautiful cars.

Welcome! Nice find on the 2k SSEI. You will have a ball here! I think you'll like the "Performance and Brainstorming" section and, by all, means, boost up!
