The sad part is, it was only my car 4 days before it died on me. Although that is a very true statement. My pipe that feeds into the plenum is short.. whats the easiest way to get it higher?

Well, I took her out for a spin, she is a little smoky still(she was soaked inside and out with coolant twice). I drove for about 45 mins, and the smoke is almost gone except for the rad. It got splashed pretty bad clearing the cylinders. Tomorrow after work, I'm going to take it to the car wash, and spray the engine compartment out. Any recommendations for something to spray it with before hand to help get the gunk off the outside of the motor. I want it to match the inside of the motor, which is probably as silver as the day it was assembled. Anyways tomorrow I will post back about how it goes in my day to day. Everyone cross your fingers it doesn't strand me in the city again. It was a 110$ tow back to where we worked on it. I sunk a butt load of cash into her, I think she owes me some good behavior Ha-Ha.
Glad to here your cars moving again. Find yourself a good engine degreaser at any auto parts store...

just make sure you buy a degreaser thats made for motors, not all degreasers are safe on vacuum lines and hoses and some plastics
I use either 'simple green' or 'jungle jake' myself

Sweet, Maybe if I can get my car looking clean and decent, I can get some pics up. Its nothing special really, haven't even got my stereo in it yet. I wasn't quick enough.

Well looks like the stereo will have to wait. Once we put the car back together, the deck was dead. Pulled it and hooked it straight to the battery, works fine. Fuses seem good. I may have to run a new power and memory wire when I'm done trying to fix this backfire issue the car developed 2 days after it was fixed. These cars seem like a serious pain in the ***. I drove a 98 Chevy sprint for 5 years, and never had near these kind of issues! lol
