What is different ? 4WD / 2WD chassis ?
I have come along across an 06’ Z71 4WD White tahoe . No rust , southern truck . I want to replace the frame . Are 2WD chassis & 4WD the same EXCEPT for the the (2) crossmembers added on the 4WD in the transmission/ transfer case area ?? Lots of information on UTube but not clear enough for me 🤔

They all look about the same in the diagrams I've found, but they're listed with different part numbers so there are probably differences:
21997058 2wd, with z71
21997059 2wd, without z71
21997061 4wd
Just curious: If it has no rust, why do you want to replace the frame?

4wd vs 2wd frames for Tahoe
Mumltitude of reasons in my mind . No rust , but Trail hitch area has been poorly modified bracing by a red neck I think . I want to remove the engine , transmission ( got a 30k GM ) to install . Transfer case to repair too . I have an indoor lift to make it easier with the swap . This white z71 is worth it . I love projects
