Default Jammed / Stuck Door Actuator

I replaced the passenger door lock actuator on my 2014 GMC Sierra and everything went just as the a youtube video by 1A Auto Parts presented. It is an excellent How-to-Video. However I have a serious problem now. The Door is now shut and the neither the inside or outside latch will open the door. I followed the step-by-step procedures and tested everything repeatedly as suggested. The window works fine, the remote lock is working fine. But the door will not open. It is embarrassing to say, but this is what I think happened. I tested the latch a few times and I think I left the latch arm closed and tried to close the door when I was done. It was hot in my garage and without too much thought...I did something I am regretting...I shut the door harder the second time and it latch shut, but now it is Stuck. I fear I bent the latch arm and jammed it from being able to rotate and release. I have tried reaching a hook down inside to manually pull up the latch lever on the new actuator, but it acts like it is stuck or actually it feels like I am moving it but it'* not releasing. There is no way to remove the inside door trim without the door being open. I don't see any way to access it and figure out what is going on without destroying the inside door panel, even then I'm not sure how you get it to release. Any ideas?

Barring a better idea, I'd get one of those emergency lockout guys/gals to come out and try it. Tell them the whole story, and see if they can pull a rabbit out of a hat for you.

Thanks for the reply CathedralClub, I've got an appt. in the morning to see if a shop can work some magic. One of their guys feels confident. Good reminder to slow down. I'll give an update.
