Default Bypass fog light switch 2020 silverado

I’m looking to bypass the fog light switch I bought the factory lights with the harness and switch.

does anyone know if I take the connector pin out of the B3 space from the fuse put it on a 12v source and add a 15amp inline fuse this would work? I’m looking for alway in when lights are on

thanks
bob

I feel like a few key words are missing or something.

The lights are installed on the truck and want to bypass for some reason?

The truck doesn't have the lights and you have factory lights that you have purchased that you want to add to it?

. . . something else?

For what it is worth, the truck and the switch and the lights are designed to run through the BCM and relays.

my truck did not come with factory fog lights I purchased the factory lights and harness and installed i dont want to go to the dealer and pay to have the BCM flashed so they work what i would like to do is figure out which wire is the parking lights and splice into it so that when they are on the fog lights are on

i found out that connecting the wire from the harness to a 12v power source turns the fog lights on all the time and not when the lights are on even when the truck is off

Adding fog lights to the parking lights' circuit might overload something. I'd suggest doing to math on the power after verifying the fuse rating for the parking lights circuit. before getting any deeper.
