I am trying to get information on the location of the fuel vent valve on a 2006 gmc sierra...I dropped the fuel tank and can not for the life of me find the location of the old valve...I was told it'* located in the back of the fuel tank but I'm not seeing anything close that risibles the new vent valve...i have searched the forum before posting and have come up empty on it'* location..is there anybody that has knowledge on this part and it'* location?

Are you referring to the evap purge valve?

hell i can figure out how to upload a photo but it'* called a fuel vent valve...i'm being told that it'* has 3 possible locations...i looked in the 3 location and haven't seen any part close to looking like the new part...starting to think i have the wrong part
