Ford had the same thing for my parent'* Crown vic station wagon.

I can see it now, Fantastic 88 waking up in a cold sweat screaming "where are my keys?"

Then walking around the house with one hand holding a cup of coffee and the other in the robe pocket holding the keys..............Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. LOL

JK I would do the same thing...........if I wore a robe.

I have a plastic door key for my Trans Sport. I've used it prob. a dozen times since I've owned the van. It'* saved me many times!

My car came with them. The original owner said they used it once right after they bought it...we used it once right after we bought it.

We only have a door key though, I don't know how the ignition key would work with VATS.

I just have a metal spare in my wallet. It bulges slightly out from the wallet but its still cool.
