in theory yes.....that is why it says Emergency use only......and i believe that it has saved a few before

ahh gotcha...the problem is that most ppl prolly kept these when they sold the car....so there might not be alot of these around

I had a wallet card type deal with a key in it that slid out. The key it'* self was METAL.

Totally true guys...

My 91 GA had them. They have the grooves necessary and they are the flimsest things you've ever seen.

90% never got cut and used.

I got a couple of those. One is cut the others are not. I've found them in a few cars at the yards.

They're called courtesy keys, and they work. I've used them myself in the past.

One time use only. They are plastic. Now I only carry a spare door key in a plastic slider in my wallet. Ignition key is hidden elsewhere.
