Default wtf is wrong with these people?

I was just looking over craigslist and noticed there are a few people who are being told that their head gaskets are blown!

Just for a couple examples.

OH, and just for a laugh at another ignorant person.

John, many don't have the experience of the club and it'* wealth of members. Typically the diagnosis for that behavior could be a head gasket.

Then, halfway through the mechanic realizes the mis-diagnosis as they see the gaskets.

But it WAS funny to read the way the guy wrote that the mechanic diagnosed his rattle as a rattle in the SC....well, duh! lol Not much of a diagnosis.

And yeah, finding coolant in the oil is a typical sign of head gasket failure....on other engines.

Your not alone on that one. I can hear my tranny clicking sometimes when downshifting or accelerating. I know a guy though that will tear it out, rebuild it and put it back in for about $1000

While reading through those listings, one wonders how the people who post these things get by in real life. I mean they must have a hard time handling just the basics.
