It could be an engine swap. Though it would be tough, I've read about a couple before, so it shouldn't be too rare to find one. It may have been a very lowly optioned 96-99 SLE or 92-99 SSE. Whatever it may be (or may have been), I think it'* awesome.

I've actually come across a 96 Ei with the EXACT same options as you describe, except it did have one power seat. It also had the chrome T-stars too, oddly enough :?

Probably more than every option!

Having an SSEi like the one you found in the junkyard is probably good for weight savings. It would be interesting when tuned up and on the track. Quite the sleeper except for the badges and bumpers.
