Dude...255 mph? or 410 kph (heh, sounds more impressive)
My guess is the limiter is represented as a hex number...FF is the largest single byte hex number and that equates to 255. They just maxed it out.

No bubble burst here. The GTP may be temporarily quicker but the TA will still get it on the top end (just plug in mr. diablo). And a Compucar wet system will take care of the 1/4 times.
