General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

So it ends...

The studs? The bolts that came with my TOGs are still ok but my front TOG is pinched and ripped, not to mention the flange is bent. The x-over is bent but I'd have to guess the rear is still useable.
I got the dash off today and started to pull the octupus of wire behind it.

I actually cut the pole in half and sent it proably 20 feet forward. I haven't gone by the scene yet but a friend did and said the pole was gone.
Bonnevilles are SAFE.

Always unfortunate when something like this happens. I know you spent a lot of blood, sweat and tears with that car but in the end it is just a car. Glad to know your safe and relatively unscarred. Use everything you learned to make the next one better

And...don't get addicted to the pain killers

Thanks agian everyone for the kind words.
Suprizingly I'm not really even hurting that bad. Bruise here there an some stitches. I've been banged up muuch worse on my bike.
Got the p/* doors all apart, harness, poppers, and window motors out. I should have the car unwired from the firewall back pretty shortly and have the interior fully stripped.

You've got the same drive with the L36 that I have with the S1 L67. Don't lose it. We've had some great talks, Mike. We'll find you another candidate when you're ready.

Glad to know you are ok.

I hope people who read this thread will drive more safely. Its tempting to drive fast with these cars but its really not worth it. Drive the limit people.
