Default Simplest easiest question ever

Did the trunk mounted inflator panels come wth a valve stem cap on them originally or was the valve always exposed?

Thinking about adding a simple valve stem cap to keep any dirt etc from possibly getting in there and causing a malfunction when I really need it to work.

Um, yeah. Put one on there. Mine came with one. Same as a tire valve stem cap.

the 93 SSEi i had came with one on it, altho instead of having a rounded top it had a pointed top. and i dont think they ever even used the inflator. she never even changed the tires... it only had 45,000 miles on it when i bought it last year.
