Not so much the PCV, but the gasket was leaking oil from the PCV passage and that was leaking in to the intake.

oh and the cat is definately toast i was smelling rotten eggs most of the way home however here'* a funny tid bit my fuel economy got better with the new */c and 3.4 go figure
