If your planning to do your car up, then I suggest working on flow, headers, rockers or CAM. That will be most if not all of your grand. But it will also open you up for everything else. Might want to throw a free flow cat in there.

That leaves smaller mods to be added later. PCM tune, cold air intake, MPS pulley

pcm tune for the 3.4 and the when you select the roller rockers they give you the option for valve springs and retainers will set ya back $550 before shipping valve cover gaskets are a must

You will want exhaust gaskets, pacesetters come with paper gaskets and they are only good for throwing away.

You will want modified retainers for the springs.

You might need a wbody trans dipstick tube, I don't recall if the PS headers need that though.

A shift kit would be a good addition.

Figure on 25 to 40 HP with a 3.4" pulley. That set up you should be fine with the 3.4"

My first suggestion would be put that money down and read until your eyes bleed.

I spent a lot of money when I was new to modding and later found that a set of headers could be had for low dollars, that Pacesetters were troublesome headers and SSautochromes fit better for the price.

Rockers are nice, why pay full price though? Just yesterday I saw a deal for new 105# srpings and the retainers for $100 shipped.

And you don't need someone that guarantee'* their work for 500Km'*. because the work isn't going to be the problem. If anything would fail, it'* probably the parts.

Reuse your stock exhaust gaskets. They are stainless steel and after lots of work, I'm still using my originals w/o any leaks.

I may be old and frugal at times..but you can get lots for your $1000 if you hang back and second and plan things properly.
