Kill the Bonney? I hope not, but wonderful cars and divisions have been killed lately over making more production for those wonderful SUV'* that the masses seem to crave. Don't get me wrong..I like SUV'*, my folks have a Blazer that was the ONLY vehicle that could get out in a freak 22" snowfall last year, but they shouldnt force them upon everyone. I wonder how many people, me included are going to miss the F-body and Oldsmobile.

One last thing... Imagine what this country would be like without the police, EPA, DEA, or other enforcement authority.

Try visiting a third world country where you have no rights, and the country is ruled regionally by war lords who use intimidation and brutality to get you to do what they want.

If someone steals your car, or your kid for that matter, what would you do? Ah yes, you probably wouldn't be able to afford any sort of car there. Crime would be a way of life, and up to you to avoid on a regular basis.

I agree completely with that statement. I'm sick of Suburbans and Expeditions and all those other ungodly sized vehicles on the road. Those monstrosities are impossible to see around, can't fit in any type of parking spot, and always seem to tailgate anything smaller than a *-10.

Yes and no. I mean, honestly, people do need to know how to drive and that you can take corners like you can in a car and it'* not an engineering defect either...it'* just simple physics. They'll roll more just because they are higher off the ground and have that higher center of gravity.

Yes but the driver isn't compensating for that height difference. I've never even come close to that in our yukon.

Well if you are bringing up laws, then think about this. With freedom of speech we are allowed the right to question or make fun of the highest ranking officer of the nation (President) without reprisal (unless your threatening him/her). I'm not saying that what SuperchargedSSEi said was right i'm saying his right to say it was right. Not trying to start any kind of war here and if you want to discuss this in PM or the lounge thats fine just don't be so quick to judge others who are exercising their rights. Making fun of cops while not socially accepted is legally accepted. Just my 2 cents....
