i have an 01 suburban with a g80 and 5.3 and all the snow weve been getting ive only used 4wd like once.
heated leather.heated auto dim mirrors tow haul mode.class 3 hitch.only options it doesnt have is a moonroof and steering wheel controls,,youd when i told ya i got it for 3 grand.But i bought it from a friend for that cheap cause it had elec issues..Took me two hours to figure it out (her old man messed a bunch of wiring up under the dash putting in a remote start).and to be honest short of my diesels its one of the best mpg vehicles i own (outside of the buicks) its a great ride and my wife thought itd be to big but its just like driving a car .(blind spots and such) its a great truck i think if ou can find one a tahoe or suburabn in the 2000-2003 year range would be good granted ive only had it for about a week but i still like it.

Bubba is still my favorite tho no matter what hes always there for me..Hual a car? no problem play in the mud? no problem city driving?no problem go for a 400 mile hwy trip?no problem.Ive had him for about two years now and i tell ya hes been the best vehicle ive ever owned and thats why hes being rewarded right now like he is.I think is you could get you hands on a truck check for svc records.Fuel pumps around the 200k mile mark seem to be common.

but IMHO dont buy a 94-01 dodge ram their trans were prone to failure and their front suspensions are junk.

Its all about you and what you want in a new vehicle so weigh your options look at pros and cons and go for what you decide is best

Yea definetely its just a pain in the *** because all my mom does is bitch nonstop about all my choices its the main thing driving me nuts this is my money and I'm trying to find car I want you guys are saying the trailblazers have issues what years had the issues?? The one I posted is the year I'm thinking. Of considering. Also as much as I love bmws they are very pricey to keep my buddy just got rid of his for that reason.

I've showed you the 02 330xi my friend bought.. It'* an amazing car. It has a ton of aftermarket parts, but surprisingly, some things are fairly cheap. He had to replace two wheel bearings for it to pass inspections, and I'm pretty sure he said they cost less than $100.. but the oil filters are so uncommon, the PO bought a box of 10 filters online while he was living in Alberta, before he moved to the province..

theres no reason to buy any year TB like dakota says the 5.3 gets better mileage and there is more space in a tahoe/yukon/sub. and the 5.3 is like the old 350'* or 3.8'* if you take care of them people are getting hundreds of thousands of miles on them without significant issue.

Justin is right mine has 178k on it and she never put anyting significant into it and it always drove great city hwy still does and aint half bad on gas

My very favorite vehicle I even owned was a 2000 Yukon. This was the first year with a liftgate (hinged at the top) instead of a tailgate (hinged at the bottom), and the first year you could get 3rd row seating in the short version. My kids used to bug me to go drift busting whenever we had a big snowfall.

id go with a 90s truck as a good rig if you wanna tow. idk about up there but here even diesels are cheap as hell. and if you are willing to stoop to the level of driving a ford, they're even cheaper than the chevs and dodges.

im not going to be doing alot of towing so i dont need anything hardcore, just something that can pull a trailer if i need it to. no fords im not dealing with that mess I dont have good luck with them. what are some good engines for cars? I know the 3.8 is good since i love mine but i know those are being replaced in newer cars, id like to stay around the 03+ year range

The 3.5 seems to be a decent motor. I think they were having trouble with the head gaskets until 08/09. My parents have put about 150k kms on their 09 impala so far and haven't had any problems. It gets better mileage than my 3.1 and has about 220hp.

The 3.4 is also a reliable motor, but isn't that great for power.

You think a truck doesn't have enough space to sound good? I have a friend with a standard cab that I guarentee will tickle your fancy. If you go with an extended or crew cab the possibilities just get greater. I've got an awesome system in my extended cab (and anyone who has seen/heard the system in my car knows I am very particular about my audio). I have never regretted trading the blue bonnie in for a GMC Truck, the fuel mileage isn't that bad, and it was GREAT for plowing through this last snow. It still comfortably carries the same amount of people as well.
