I just bought another Bonneville! (SOLD! - owned 23 days)
I cant wait to get our house with the 2 car garage (Within a month or so=) ) Its going to be great! The 95 is just sitting there now negelected and jealous of the BMW. It looks soooo fun just to be able to work on a car and make it new again.
Andrew, you should put the hood back on and remove it at the salvage yard. They will no doubt let you leave your old hood, saving you a nuiscance in the garage and the pain of having to dispose of it later when time and means of disposal may be harder to come by. That'* what I did with my old 1994 SLE.

This afternoon was spent at a couple yards in the area. First was Vans Auto Salvage in Mankato. They have a pretty dirty and poorly run business going, but that usually means the best deals. They don't even have an inventory! The guy says it all in his head. They had a green 94 SSE with a slipping trans that wasnt missing to many parts. I grabbed a bunch of stuff off it. I started by asking him how much he wanted for each piece separate as we pulled them off, here is what he told me:
Door cladding $30 (need to order the clips from the dealer unless someone has a better idea)
Grill $20
Grill $30
Radiator cover $10
Radiator cover $10
Maxifuse cover $10
Headlight $40
headlight bracket $10
speaker grill $5
washer fluid cap $free
cigarette lighter plug $free
front radiator bracket $10
Power antenna $30
Console armrest $10
I was trying to calculate all these prices in my head, and I knew it was starting to get up there, but I needed everything, so I kept going. Then after we got to the counter, he looked at everything and looked at me, looked at everything and then looked at me again and said, $50 SOLD! Then I had to run to an ATM since he doesn't take CC'*
Tomorrow I am picking up a near MINT rear bumper cover, exhaust shield and coolant reservoir for $40 since he didn't have time to pull that today.

Next was St. James Auto Salvage where I knew they had a hood for me. We pulled one off a 95 SE in pretty fair condition. It does have a small paint chip about the size of a dime on the edge of the hood near the grill. A little touchup should work great. I was a little disappointed with the price of the hood since I had my hopes up for the $75 one, but I paid $175 for this one, as that is the best I can do locally right now.
Marty, I wish I would have thought about what you said earlier, I have to get rid of that hood now!
Now for the bad news. After installing the hood, it would not latch. I found out that the radiator support got pushed in more than I originally thought. It will need to be pulled out on a frame puller, which I have no idea how much it will cost. It is pushed in about 1-1.5" inches. This will delay me drastically as I can't put the front end together anymore until that gets fixed.

thats a good idea I guess, but I had brought it to the guy that painted my PA and he said a frame puller will be the only way to make it straight.
