He'* not undervaluing it, it'* the market prices for a car that old with those miles.

It does look good, It'* amazing what some effort and a few spare parts will do isn't it

Taking off the dealer sticker? That'll help IMO.. Maybe clean up the rust from the LP bolts as well. Cleaning up the exhaust tips some?

I really don't think it would come off nice, I would probably damage the paint more than it is already under the decal. :?

Marty mentioned that he has a spare trunk lid/spoiler sitting behind his house, buts is under snow. If I don't have the car sold by the meet, I'll put that on.

I think that could be removed without a problem but thats just my opinion. Maybe try a rubber pinstripe eraser wheel on a drill?

a heat gun will take that decal off without any problem at all

also do your self one other favour, remove the black plastic peice from the top of te bumper and lift the trunk rubber and give the area a shot of black paint (POR15 maybe?) the reinstall the trim. that will give it a uniform look and not catch peoples eyes to bargan you down.

Sadly it was pretty bad under that decal. None of those scratches are from me. Hopefully the touchup paint will cover it nicely.

Looks better without the dealer sticker even if the paint isn't perfect IMO.
