why clean the AL7 switch? umm, cuz it was dirty and I want it to look better?

both of these switches are simply to clean once you take them apart. I just ran these under hot tap water and all the gunk disappeared.

After I get the hood/headlight/grill/door panel back together, I'm gonna bring it over to my body shop buy to see if he can do anything to clean up the rough edges for a good price. The front bumper has a hole in it, the rear bumper is cracked and has some scuffing on it, the passenger rear fender also has some scuffing on it, but that should buff out. Otherwise, its in good conditon. No rust at all.

Great buy Andrew! If your looking for a yard with reasonable prices, check out U-Pull R- Parts in Rosemont, just south of St Paul and the Koch Refinery west of Hwy 52 on Hwy 3. Hoods are $29, bumper covers are $29, headlights are $24 and they list all their cars daily including color. I know it might be a bit of a drive, but you could save some $. They always have at least 1-6 90'* Bonnevilles, some are SSE'*. Green and White seem to be the most popular color.

My cleaning solutions were finally thawed out today, so I got started on the carpet this morning. It was pretty nasty, but luckily it was mostly pop stains that came right out. The carpet is in very good condition.

I also got the hood off by myself, thanks wren, and I am going to put the seats back in and drive it to the junk yard like that and install the new hood in the parking lot. I dont really have a good way to get the hood to my house.

Allow me to post a warning:

Castrol SuperClean is not normally the cleaner of choice under the hood. It WILL eat the paint off of anything it touches. It'* a huge risk even for the smallest splash. I don't suggest anyone do this unless they've done it before and are willing to have an accident.

Car is lookin' good, Andrew.

true, to a point. I'm sure I got some mist on the paint of the car while I was spraying it, but since I was doing a carwash at the same time, it didn't have enough time to react.

It does work DAMN good on underhood grease though!

Just found out my salvage yard sold the $75 hood I was going to go get, now I have to drive 20 more miles and pay $175 instead. Oh well, they have more selection for the smaller peices I need.

hood
grill
headlight passenger & bracket
corner lenses
speaker grill
radiator bracket
driver rear cladding
exhaust tip - drivers side
power antenna
center console latch
signal stalk
rear vents
washer bottle cap
coolant reservoir

Dude... $400? I hate you lol. I would have much rather had an SSEi than this laptop.
