And to clarify, he technically doesn't owe anything else on the 94 SSEi (its complicated, but not really an issue) with respect to financing etc.

I woke up at 4:30 am and got on the highway towards NH by 5:30. The drive up was pretty easy, thanks to mapquest. They didn't get me lost this time.
I arrived at the dealership at about 8:30. Their "appraiser" was there and he proceeded to check out the Sebring. It had been repainted after a minor winter accident 2 years ago. I knew he'd notice, but I let him know before he found out on carfax.
I drove the 03 around to give Jeff (the salesman) time to arrive since i got there early. It drove very well, handled great. It felt good in the cockpit of the 03. The car overall, as Karl stated, is gorgeous. There are a few minor marks in the paint, but only one ding in the fender. The rest of the body is MINT. Interior is 99.9% flawless.
Jeff gave me his offer for my trade. It was lower than any other place offered, but I didn't care. I was NOT planning on driving the Sebring back home!
And I didn't. The drive back in the 03 was so much nicer than the ride up. I kept it below 75mph the whole way back though. If I didn't know, I'd never guess this car had 108,000 miles. But 108,000 is nothing. I love this car. For $8800 it'* an amazing deal. The original window sticker in the glove box shows $37,155 new. I got it 4 years later for 1/4 of the price.
