Wow, those Flowmasters really add a nice rumble! That'* a great sound. Very good work on the engine! I think it look amazing! It'* probably better than it was in 93.

Aside from the redesigned rings, nothing else should have changed. It sounds that good because the engine is clean inside. There is a world of difference between the sounds of the two motors through that Flowmaster. The combustion chambers have ZERO carbon. Intake valves have ZERO deposits (and most of those deposits resulted from failed stem seals), as well as the exhaust valves. In other words, no unnecessary turbulence. It will sound and perform even better once the fuel system and the catalyst is serviced/replaced.
Thanks to some sound advice, the original fuel injectors were left alone for now. I will try to find some fuel injector cleaner that is force-fed through the fuel rail. The original O2 was left as well. It'* pretty hard to come by a good 3-wire setup...might be worth the extra time involved to do the 4-wire conversion. Fuel filter will be replaced sometime soon (fuel pressure is healthy).

Damn good job on that motor Brad. Just from the vid I can tell that the motor runs smoother than the old one. I can't imagine what the difference would sound like in person.

Amazing work, Brad. It'* almost like watching a restoration job of a muscle car, hell it'* equally as good.
It'* almost making me want a project 93-94 SLE/SSE to tinker with...

Fuel, I would in my honest opinion, go with a '94. Not only do they have the more updated L27, the instruction set on the PCMs are, in my opinion, more driver-oriented. I can tell there is a world of difference between Boozes car and my '94 SSE, both of which have equal L27s and equal gearing. Do not take that previous statement as me saying there is something wrong...there isn't. It'* just in the way the PCMs handle things.
Guys, I can't take all the credit for this. I did put in most of the wrench time, and all the detail time. But Marik relinquished the donor motor which was serving no purpose to him anymore. Don lent a hand or two as well. I gotta credit my boss too for letting me borrow the crane so I could do this job. It was a team effort in my eyes.
Still no leakage from the new motor. It'* sealed up good. It could run underwater given its own air and exhaust supplies. And it starts cold with just a few revolutions of the starter

And I can't thank you guys enough!
-Brad for all the hard work, your time, the extra parts and having done this just after having surgery on your hands!
-Don for your work, time and knowledge!
-Marik especially for donating the motor!
-And Brad'* Boss for the support!No Pun Intended
On a side note;
Would it benefit me at all to ****** a '94 PCM out of a junk yard car? Or just wait and send mine to INTENSE (a good bit later down the road)

Oh dang, I thought they only sold PCMs for the Series II +but for some reason I thought you could send in my PCM and they could reprogram it...Oh well, Jet Stage II is coming over the summer anyway.
But would I benefit from getting a '94 PCM then?
