Are you going to bore it, or is it just that the machine shop will make sure it works like OE?

The guy at the machine shop will decide whats necessary. We don't know if the block will be bored .030 over or not. He said it might be fine as is, but either way he'* doing the pistons as well. We gave him the new-er block, the original crank (which will be turned .010 under). He'll be doing the main, cam and balance shaft bearings, as well as putting the balance shaft in. Also he'* gonna get the oil pump as well.

Probably be about a month to a month and a 1/2 before It'* done. The guy is slow but he knows what he is doing.

Meanwhile I have the hood vents to finish, reassemble my tails. Once I find something to use on the reflective/chrome on the inside, some of it has flaked/peeled off. Also want to find some clear material to replace the amber in the signal lens. Then Tint . And I'd like to get around to pulling out the interior and cleaning it up, and do the headliner. And maybe some painting in the engine bay.

So its been just over a month and the Machine shop hasn't touched the 3800 yet

Since then:
-I managed to pull my tails apart and been looking for another drivers side outer tail before I finish them.
-Redeveloped a leak in the trunk (I am hoping is just because of the taillights not being there (I DID tape up the hole though))
-She rolled from in front of the Garage to behind the house in the woods

This week/weekend/next week I want to start playing with porting the LIM and finishing the hood vents finally. And get started on preparing things/painting under the hood and stuff.

We'll see how that goes though.

I'm getting sick of the Trucks ±11 mpg I WANT THE BONNEVILLE BACK
