So it'* the volume of air delivered that'* essential to an engine application, not the pressure of it. Gotcha. In our plant application, we needed pressure to get down from the roof into the plating tanks. Nitrous injection gets some of it'* kick from higher cylinder pressures, but I see how that is totally different. Sure would be nice if I didnt have to rely on "Oxygen in a bottle" for performance.

Now you got it. That'* why I always say, open the exhaust first. All the boost in the world does no good if you can't get the gases out. Any place where air can build up is a problem.
i need a good exhaust system... how may i ask would one block the silencers... id have to tear mine off and see if its the same underbelly but assuming it is... would you weld the holes up and then sand em smooth while your porting the rest of it out or am i thinking a lil too redneck... dont forget im an okie hehe i can weld anything to anything for nothin at all HAHAHA
im sorry i just realized i said that outloud... please forgive lol
btw i dont know if it would work but you were saying something about re-routing the fuel lines to get them off the top of the SC ... if they are close enough you may consider looking at a 94/95 style... they wrap around... just 2 pennies for your thoughts

Decided to go out and work on things a little. That was a mistake. It'* 12* outside, and holding a die grinder, even with gloves, it gets really cold. Came in after I couldn't feel my fingers anymore.
Well, this is what I started with on the outlet. All that flash has to go.

Cleaned it all up with a rasp. Now it'* time to smooth it out

Still got a little more work here, but it'* mostly done.

The silencer ports are getting welded shut tonight, I hope.

Still have a long ways to go, but I'm on my way.

good luck.. this spring when its nice and warm and i can afford to tear her apart for the weekend ima do the same to mine... from what i looked at it will be a lil easier... the silencers are alot smaller on the m62
