Sounds like a cross between "Voltron" and "Pepparoni".

I'd steer clear of something like that

On a more appropriate note, I doubt that was the original battery. 6 years tops is the expected lifespan of any lead-acid battery.

Well that all but lasted a day. Now the gauges crapped out again. Grrrrr!

I believe I have something up somewhere electrical related. But where....? (see the help topic I'm making in a few minutes.)
