Bonny vs Caprice

Willwren, Are you talking about the v6 mustang, they suck but I don't know about the other stangs. Especially the new 2003 mach 1 and the 03 cobra. Those are some fast cars.
Also 2000SilverBullet, My 71 Mach 1 would probably beat your firebird.
I was wondering Willwren, Why does your car only say 14.92 when you have what seems like alot of work done to it. Shouldn't you be running faster. Atleast that'* what I would asume. I figured you should be running low 14'* not high 14'*.

I'm running faster now, but I don't know how much yet. Look at the dates! You need to also remember that I'm running a Series 1 L67 drivetrain.....1993. The mustangs I eat daily are all 5.0 GT'*. I don't waste my time on the 6'*, I leave them for JSeabert. Mostly 0-60 sprints around here. I've also taken a 93 Cobra. Belongs to a friend of a friend. Not too many of the new ones around. I might hang awhile, but not in the long run. They run 13/14 stock, I think. SHO'* are getting old, and thunderchickens too. It seems only the 'specialty' Mustangs get the serious stock power any more. Most of the Mustangs are just about looks now. Just like the demise of the Camaro/Firebird family. Sad day for muscle cars. (here I am talking about muscle cars with 2 bonnevilles parked in front of my house!) We'll see. I'm not done yet. Some neat little secret R&D in the works right now.

I'm not going to change it. I'll stop modding at 300hp. I'll buy another Boneville with a Series 2 or 3 drivetrain later, but I'm keeping this one, too. Hell, it only has 80k miles on the ticker. It'* nearly museum quality.
A Series 1 to 2 swap is possible, but not cost-effective at all. Better off selling and buying a newer car. I like mine. Might not be the fastest thing out there, or even the fastest Bonneville, but it still surprises a few people!

I love my Monte . Camaro'* aren't and never were muscle cars since the early 80'*. Same with the stangs. They turned into sports cars. Too bad I gave up the green monte . I was doing high 11'*. I have to sell it with the stock engine and we're putting the other 305 in a Jeep.

I dunno, i never really classified the Stang as a muscle car. It'* always sorta been a sports car to me. It didn't have the balls like the Chevelles, Chargers, Cuda'*, Camaros, Satalites.

VZE, I was checkin your MONTE out in the parking lot of the job the other day. That thing is tight and I'm sure fast as hell, right? Nice body integrity and paint.

I'm trying to keep it that way. For now I'm just buying bolt on parts for it . That way I can remove them and go back to factory. Waiting for my TES headrers.
As far as fast , I don't know yet . I need to buy a gallon of glue o get the tires to stick to the floor. For some reason, those 245/65r15 don't have the best traction. If you go to the back of the lot you can find 35 foot tread marks (that'* mine).
For those who wonder what king they are , Goodyear GT4'* all around.
She does move on the high way. In july , I'm planning on a chassis up rebuild(not that I need it) .
I'm going to powder coat the frame nd anything else I can . If it can't e powder coated , it'll be replace by chrome or stainless steel.
I'll post pics when I'm done , that'* after I get on the front page of Super Chevy!!!
