Default Bonny vs Caprice

1992 Bonneville SSE vs 1993 Caprice Classic Police Package
Bonneville: 3.8 Lieter V6 170 HP - STOCK

Caprice Classic: 5.7 Lieter V8 260 - 310 HP - Police Interceptor Package

What a Joke! Who do you think won? heheh Lets just say I memorized what the rear end of a Caprice looks like!

Was it a '93 or '94? Caprices didn't get the 260hp LT1 until 1994.

Maybe it was a 94, but its got the Police package, which included all the Mods and everything, The Civilian Caprice is only 190 HP with the LT1, The Cops Caprice LT1 is 260+

All the LT1s in the B-Bodies were the same, whether it was an Impala SS, Police-package 9C1, or simply a Caprice stationwagon. They all had 260hp. The base Caprice sedan did have a 200hp 4.3L V8, with the LT1 as an option.

Doesn't matter if a Caprice has 190HP, you forget that with the LT1'* they are famous for their low end grunt. Not always about HP, check the torque figures for Caprices and that'* why you will get smoked stock for stock.

I just parked my 96 Impala and bought a 03 Bonneville SSEi. I still think the Impala has a certain pretty cool look about it though.
