If the profile changes too much you will need either a custom pcm (intense) or a set of transmission reluctor gears to re-calibrate the speedo.

I just got back from a 4 hour round trip, and the road noise is nothing. My muffler overbears everything, but I like the handling of bigger tires and wheels on the interstate better than the stockers.

ok thanks twister.... also... i like the look of it when the wheels and tires stick outta the fender like an inch... like on trucks... can i do this too?
People that say 18 inch rims will give you a harsh ride don't own 18'* The ride in my car did not change at all when I went from 17s to 18s. In fact the goodyears rsa'* that I took off rode worse. But thats just my opinion
yeah I know I know.. HO = high output..
tires which stick out of the car [this depends upon the state I think] are illegal for a certain size. On trucks they have the fender add on things, which add on a little space to keep you in the "barely legal" catagory. I'd keep it in the fender.. but that'* just my 2cents.
