Couldn't resist the temptation of buying my old SSE back for $100, so I did. Pretty much rust free (except inner fenders under the hood) and fairly clean still inside.
What it needs:
tranny
tires
Lucky for me I have a 1989 Lesabre parts car with 132,000 miles on it with a engine and tranny that are mechanically sound so I am just going to swap the whole drivetrain.
P.*. if anyone in MN has a 1991 SSE tranny with the 3.33 gearing let me know. I am also looking for one complete center cap assembly for the 1989-1991 16" crosslace rims.

BTW, I should state that the pic ^^^ is about 2 years old. Car looks pretty much the same, except it could use a polish.
Rjolly -I'd be interested in your tranny, but you are almost 1800 miles from me -too far. Sorry.
