Default Anyone use OTC Mindreader?

I am trying to hook it up to the 96. I've got the power cable and data cable hooked up to the OBDII adapter. I turn the key, but it gets no power. It worked fine on the 93. I checked the contacts, they are all clean. It doesn't work on our 97 Caddy ether. :?

..That scanner may only be for OBD 1

The 95+ Cars had OBD 2

Maybe it'* the wrong scanner..

I know at school , the plugs fit in both.. 1 and 2.. If it wasn't the right scanner for the right system, it didn't work.

It works with and has an adapter for OBDII. Its advertised to work with OBDI, II, and Fords, and yet this $600 unit wont work as advertised.

I say contact the manufacturer then, and tell them you're dissappointed, and want to know what to do to make it work
