Default '96-'99 SSE/SSEi Owners -- question for you!

Hey gang, does anyone have a '96-'99 SSE/SSEi that can confirm that their headrest tilts?

I'm kinda anal retentive when it comes to safety (especially in cars) and having a headrest that tilts prevents your neck from snapping back in an accident.

If the SSE/SSEi headrests do indeed tilt, than I'm going to order just one from the dealer.

Thanks for your help...

The only way it tilts is if you have the 12-way seats. Some SSE'* dont have a 12-way seat and dont have the adjustable headrest. Noe as far as the part number goes, i dont have that. Maybe you can go find in a salvage yourd. But it has to have those 12-way power seats. (buttons in the middle) 92-99

SSESC is right. My 1999 SSEi had/has the 12 way seats with the tilting headrests. My 1998 SSE has dual power seats, but not the 12 ways nor tilting headrests (at least not originally, or after I get them switched with their rightful owner (SSEi95).

Your best bet is just to find a SSE/SSEi with the 12-ways in a salvage yard.

The tilting doesn't make it safter... Just something to put my head on while driving, but not have my seat tilted forward.

Mine do and I love it. Especially for the drive home after work.
