Do you have ELC? If you do, do you have 8 relays or 7 relays in the Maxifuse relay center on the firewall?

I have 7. The FSM says I should have 8. The one I am missing is the 4th from the left, and the FSM says it should be the ELC.

I discovered my ELC relay is in the Buick/Olds position behind the glove box and it is not wired like the FSM says it should be. It also says this position in Pontiacs should be the fog lights, but I pulled it and my fog lights still worked.

Can you give us the wire colors? I can tell you for absolute certain that driverjohn'* is in the maxifuse relay center on his 92. I replaced it myself personally to fix his ELC.

I can tell you what color they should be according to the FSM, but there is no chance in hell I'm gonna pull my dash to get behind the relay center to look at wires.

You know there'* 2 foglight relays.......If I recall. The one on the passenger A-pillar is the disable relay. For when the brights are on. I'd have to check on whether there'* a main relay. I don't recall now.

I saw something about a fog light disable relay somewhere else.

I do know this relay is wired to the ELC fuse.

I know mine is in the maxifuse bank too, but the FSM says it is on the passenger cabin bank. This threw me for a loop when trying to figure out the ELC problem I was having. It'* funny too that the passenger side placard doesn't even mention the add-on relays for that side (which is the door lock/unlock relays) and yes, they appear factory.

Reading this again, I wonder if this is an FSM misprint? It'* quite possible with the change from 87-91 body to 92 and would account for the issue.
