1992 SE 4T60E non-HD 235,000+ original miles, no failures yet, at one point had an issue with it not going into gear until the car sat in idle for 7-10 min but had the tranny serviced with that evacuation process, gave the car to my father-in-law and it is still going strong.

175,000 NO FAILURE As with anything..it would have given out someday, it was rebuilt first due to future plans.

I guess I should to
1997 SSEi Trans started dropping into second and third gear at around 85,000 miles.
Transmission rebuilt at 86,500 miles.
4th gear input shaft spline wear was bad, clutching was burnt, cause of death: It was shifting to softly.
4T65-E HD

'95 Olds 88. 157k, tranny roasted. Shop owner suspects fluid was never changed.
